£30,000 Cash Seized and Two Arrested in Spade Lane Car Theft Bust

Kent Police have arrested two men and seized over £30,000 in cash after raiding several properties in Sittingbourne’s Spade Lane.

Early Morning Raids Uncover Stolen Vehicles and Cash

The crackdown happened on Tuesday 7 July 2020 at around 7am. Detectives targeting vehicle thefts across Kent executed planned search warrants, hitting multiple homes. Two men, aged 42 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal. Both remain in custody as inquiries continue.

Stolen Motorhome and Van Recovered

Along with the cash haul, police also seized a suspected stolen motorhome and a van. This bust is part of a wider investigation into a rise in vehicle thefts across the county.
