Volunteers Fuel Festive Service – No Cost to Taxpayers
All services ran commercially with zero cost to taxpayers. Drivers volunteered their time, and this year the demand to help out outstripped available shifts. This effort kept locals connected for work, social visits, and festive gatherings.
“We’re thrilled to be able to run Christmas Day services again this year and to see even more people using them,” said Nick Hill, Commercial Director at Brighton & Hove Buses. “We’re committed to keeping everyone connected all year round and making it easier for passengers to get to where they need to be at Christmas.”
New Year’s Eve Night Buses Keep the Party Going
To cap it off, normal Sunday services ran on New Year’s Eve, with night buses on routes N1, N5, N7, N12, N14, and N25 to get revellers home safe and sound.
