Two-Car Smash Closes A259 in Saltdean
This afternoon, December 13, two vehicles crashed head-on on the A259 in Saltdean, East Sussex. Police and emergency crews rushed to the scene after the collision was reported at 10:50am.
Traffic Chaos as Recovery Underway
Roads police are currently recovering the damaged cars, causing heavy queues eastbound stretching into Telscombe. Traffic is flowing but delays continue.
Emergency Services Respond
East Sussex Fire & Rescue tweeted: “Please avoid Bannings Vale #Saltdean. We’re attending a road traffic collision involving two cars. Police and SECamb are also on site.”
Firefighters have now left the scene, but police remain to manage traffic and investigate the crash.
