Jesy Nelson Welcomes Identical Twin Girls Two Months Early!

Premature but Fighting Strong

Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson and rapper partner Zion Foster have had a whirlwind few days after welcoming their identical twin daughters almost two months early. The babies arrived at just 31 weeks and five days gestation on Thursday, 15 May.

pJesy shared the touching news on Instagram on Sunday 18 May, posting a black-and-white snap of their tiny fingers entwined with their parents’. She wrote:

“So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days. It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We’ve never felt more in love.”

Meet Ocean Jade and Story Monroe

The twins have been named Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster. Jesy confirmed both are doing well despite arriving early.

Jesy had revealed back in March that the twins were diagnosed with monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) pregnancy, meaning they shared a placenta but had separate sacs—a high-risk set-up with the threat of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). Earlier this year, Jesy underwent a successful operation to prevent TTTS, which likely helped secure her girls’ healthy start in life.

Love, Loss and Reunion

Jesy started dating Zion in 2022. After a brief split in mid-2023, the couple rekindled their romance and went public again in November 2024.

She proudly announced her pregnancy in January 2025 with a caption, “eating for 3 now,” sparking a wave of congratulations from fans and celebrities alike.

From Little Mix Fame to Motherhood

Jesy quit Little Mix in December 2020, citing mental health struggles and the relentless spotlight. Since then, she carved out a solo career, teaming up with Nicki Minaj on her 2021 debut single Boyz.

Social media is already flooded with well-wishes from fans and former bandmates, all celebrating Jesy and Zion’s new bundle of joy.
