Blazing Lorry Saved as Firefighters Rescue Lambs!
Firefighters Battle Lorry Blaze
Two fire engines rushed to the scene as flames engulfed a lorry towing a trailer packed with lambs. Crews, decked out in breathing apparatus, blasted the fire with hose reel jets and managed to put out the blaze quickly.
Lambs Rescued, No Injuries
Thankfully, no casualties were reported. Firefighters swiftly removed the frightened lambs to safety before helping herd them back into the trailer once the fire was out.
Road Reopened After Emergency
Officers from the Highways Agency and kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="5546">Kent Police also attended the incident. The carriageway was shut during the fire fight but has now reopened, with traffic returning to normal.
