Corrosive Spill at Port of Dover Sparks Early Morning Fire Drama

Firefighters raced to the Port of Dover’s Eastern Docks just after 7am today after a lorry started leaking a dangerous corrosive liquid.

Fire Crews Act Fast to Stop Leak

Kent Fire and Rescue Service swooped in with two fire engines, support vehicles, and hazardous materials officers. They quickly isolated the lorry, stopped the spill, and secured the area to prevent any further danger.

“Kent Fire and Rescue Service is currently at Eastern Docks, Dover, dealing with the spillage of a corrosive liquid from a lorry,” a spokesperson confirmed.

Despite the scare, officials say port activities continue without disruption. Crews worked closely with the Port of Dover to keep everything under control and ensure safety.
