Chaos on M25: Anti-Clockwise Shut After Serious Crash
The M25 is shut anti-clockwise between junction 4 and junction 3 after a dramatic collision involving an elderly driver. The motorist crashed into trees beside the motorway between Orpington (J4) and Swanley (J3), sparking a massive emergency response.
Major Emergency Response at Scene
Around 15 to 20 emergency vehicles have swarmed to the scene, including kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police and a critical air ambulance still hovering overhead. The situation remains tense as crews deal with the aftermath of the crash.
Traffic Chaos: Huge Delays and Diversions
Motorists are being rerouted from J4 westbound, turning north along the A224 through Goddington and St Mary Cray. From Crittal’s Corner, traffic is diverted eastbound on the A20 to rejoin the M25 at J3 or the M20 at J1 near Swanley.
