Fly-Tippers Target Southampton Cemetery in Shocking Dumping Spree
Southampton City Council is on the hunt after a disgusting fly-tipping incident at Hollybrook Cemetery. Officials say they have enough evidence to nail at least one culprit.
On Tuesday afternoon, vandals dumped a tree and a heap of rubble in the sacred grounds, causing outrage among locals.
Lockdown Leaves Cemetery Open to Messy Offenders
The cemetery has stayed open throughout lockdown, but that made it an easy target for fly-tippers. One mourner, who wished to stay anonymous, blasted the offenders.
“I have three members of my family here. The people who did this are lowlifes,” they said.
“We don’t understand the mentality of people who dump waste like this. It’s really low to fly-tip in a cemetery.”
Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring the culprits to justice.
