M3 Westbound SHUT After Serious Crash Between Junctions 4A and 5
The M3 motorway is currently CLOSED westbound from Junction 4 to Junction 5 following a serious collision just after Junction 4A.
Westbound Traffic At Standstill
Police have shut both westbound and eastbound carriageways to allow an air ambulance to land and airlift the injured. Drivers caught in the closure will be turned around at Junction 4.
Delays Set to Last Late into the Night
Highways England warns the motorway is unlikely to reopen before 11:30pm, causing major disruption on the M3.
Northbound Side Also Briefly Closed
The M3 northbound was temporarily closed to clear space for the rescue helicopter but has since reopened with slow-moving traffic.
