Fire Fury in Richmond: Blaze Erupts at Diba Persian Restaurant and Flats
Massive Fire Hits Paradise Road
Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters rushed to tackle a fierce blaze at Diba Persian Restaurant on Paradise Road, Richmond. Flames ripped through the mansard roof above the restaurant, severely damaging the second and third floors. Parts of the first floor were also hit by fire.
Heroic Efforts to Tackle Blaze
The fire broke out just after 1:30 am, prompting swift emergency action. Fire crews deployed a 32-meter aerial ladder to attack the flames reaching the rooftop. Multiple fire stations rolled out their teams, including Richmond, Kingston, Twickenham, Chiswick, Heston, Hammersmith, Acton, and Wandsworth.
Investigation Underway
Firefighters remain on the scene, battling to put out the fire and safeguard nearby residents and buildings. The cause of the blaze is currently unknown. Authorities have vowed a thorough investigation once the fire is fully extinguished.
