Man Charged with Murder in Tunbridge Wells Horror

Detectives have charged a man following a deadly stabbing in Tunbridge Wells. Kent Police were called to a Sherwood Road address at 10.42am on Tuesday 17 July 2018.

Tragedy on Sherwood Road

Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene where 43-year-old Gordon Farnes was found with serious injuries. Sadly, he later died.

Suspect in Custody

Gordon Locke, 28, of no fixed address, was arrested shortly after. The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is leading the probe.

Murder Charge Approved

The Crown Prosecution Service has officially charged Locke with murder. He remains in custody and is set to appear via video link at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 18 July.
