Five Arrested After Brazen Burglary 110 Miles from London
Four men from Bromley and Greenwich have been charged with aggravated burglary after a shocking break-in in South Gloucestershire—over 100 miles from their hometowns.
Early Morning Raid Sparks Alarm
Police were called out in the early hours of February 29 to a home on Stanshawes Drive following reports of a forced entry. Neighbours raised the alarm, fearing the intruders might be armed.
By the time officers arrived, the gang had fled with stolen household items. But their luck ran out just over an hour later with five arrests.

- Anthony Docherty, 38, from Red Hill, Bromley
- Daniel Gray, 32, Bark Hart Road, Bromley
- Adrian Kupperblatt, 62, Meadowside, Greenwich
- Michael Peters, 32, Eltham Green Road, Greenwich
- Santiago Pablo, 31, Cater Drive, Yate
Santiago Pablo also faces charges for an attempted aggravated burglary dating back to January 30.
Legal Drama Unfolds in Bristol Courts
All five appeared before Bristol Magistrates on March 2 and were remanded in custody. Their next court date is set for April 8 at Bristol Crown Court for further hearings.
Meanwhile, local authorities have stepped up safeguards to protect residents at the targeted address.
