One Dead, Two Hurt After Horror Crash in Coventry
A deadly smash on Binley Road, Coventry, has left one man dead and two others in hospital following a shocking collision with a tree early this morning.
Serious Crash Sparks Emergency Response
West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the scene shortly after 6am today (Thursday) following reports of a car hitting a tree. Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, and a MERIT trauma doctor were dispatched immediately.
One Man Dies at Scene, Others Seriously Injured
Paramedics found the car badly damaged. Tragically, one male occupant was confirmed dead at the scene. A second man was in critical condition, receiving urgent advanced trauma care before being rushed on blue lights to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. The trauma doctor accompanied him en route, continuing treatment.
The third man, in his 20s, sustained less serious injuries but was still taken to hospital for further checks.
Road Closed, Diversions In Place
Binley Road remains shut while emergency crews investigate. Motorists are urged to follow diversions and avoid the area.
