Fatal Crash in Knaphill Shuts Brookwood Lye Road
Tragedy struck Knaphill this morning (4 November) when a deadly smash involving three cars unfolded on Brookwood Lye Road at around 10.15am.
One Dead at the Scene
A blue Vauxhall Astra, a blue Nissan Note, and a grey Toyota Verso collided in a horrific crash. The Astra driver was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Rescue and Injuries
The Nissan driver was trapped and had to be freed by fire crews before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Toyota driver sustained minor injuries.
Road Closure and Investigation Underway
Brookwood Lye Road remains closed both ways as emergency services, including firefighters, ambulance teams, and the air ambulance, work on the scene.
