Man Hospitalised After Crash at Busy Dagenham Junction
A man has been rushed to hospital following a crash involving a car and a van at the junction of the A13 and A1306 in Dagenham this morning (Wednesday, August 20).
Emergency Services Swift to Scene
Emergency teams were called just after 10.30am to reports of a collision on the roundabout beneath the A13 flyover.
The London Ambulance Service arrived promptly, treating the injured man at the scene before taking him to hospital. His condition remains unclear.
“We were called at 10.30am today (20 August) to reports of a road traffic collision at a roundabout on the A1306 and the A13, Dagenham. We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene. We treated one patient and took him to hospital.”
Firefighters Help Secure Crash Site
The London Fire Brigade confirmed they attended the incident shortly after receiving a call at 10.37am.
“Firefighters attended and discovered a car and a van were involved. No one was trapped. We assisted emergency service colleagues in making the scene safe. One fire engine from Barking Fire Station attended.”
Police Investigate Incident
The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further details, including whether any arrests have been made.
Traffic in the area faced temporary delays while emergency crews worked swiftly to clear the scene.
