Serious Crash Shuts A2 Near Dartford – Police Hunt Witnesses
Investigators are on the case after a nasty multi-car collision on the A2 near Dartford last Friday night.
Three Cars Involved in Late-Night Horror
At around 10.40pm on 16 February 2024, officers rushed to the scene on the Watling Street coastbound carriageway between the A296 and Ebbsfleet junctions. A black Ford Fiesta, a blue Audi S3, and a blue MG HS collided in a serious smash.
One Airlifted to Hospital with Serious Injuries
A passenger in the Fiesta was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The Fiesta’s driver and a second passenger suffered minor injuries and have been treated. Meanwhile, the Audi driver fled the scene before police arrived and is now being sought by officers.
Road Closure and Witness Appeal
The coastbound carriageway remains closed as crews clear the wreckage and investigations continue.
