Missing Festival Reveller Michelle Pelletier Found Safe
After a huge media blitz and public appeal, police have confirmed that Michelle Pelletier, 32, the Canadian festival-goer from Sunbury, Ontario, has been found safe and well.
Vanished in the Early Hours
Michelle was last seen by her friends at around 2am on Sunday morning. Her pals woke up later that day under bright sunshine, only to find she’d vanished without a trace.
Crucial Sighting at Sainsbury’s
A potential sighting of Michelle came in at 4:30am Sunday in a Sainsbury’s car park, where she was reportedly asking for directions to the Red Jet ferry.
Safe Return Home
Police, who had been coordinating with other forces and thanked the public for tip-offs and shares on social media, confirmed this evening that Michelle has now left the island and safely returned to her home.
