Knife fight breaks out in Burrage Road – One man stabbed
Just before 6.35pm on April 6, police were called to Burrage Road after reports of a violent knife fight involving a group of males.
Man rushed to hospital with stab wounds
Officers arriving at the scene found a male victim suffering from stab wounds. He was immediately taken to hospital, where medics confirmed his injuries are non-life threatening.
Police launch investigation and enforce stop and search
Police remain in the area as they investigate the shocking attack. A crime scene has been set up, and a Section 60 Order has been authorised, giving officers extra stop and search powers from 6.52pm today until 6.52am tomorrow.
No arrests yet – Police hunt for witnesses
So far, no arrests have been made. Officers urge anyone with information to come forward by calling 101 and quoting reference 5850/06Apr.
