Moonshine’s Products Launches Massive Recall Over Deadly Food Safety Risk

Food giant Moonshine’s Products Ltd has urgently recalled a raft of its popular sauces and ready meals. Faulty production and temperature lapses have made these products a ticking time bomb for serious illness – and even death.

What’s Been Pulled?

The full list includes fan favourites like:

  • Chilli con Brisket (400g)
  • Guinness Sauce (250ml)
  • 3 Green Chilli Sauce (250ml)
  • Chilli Pineapple Sauce (250ml)
  • Smokey Bacon Tomato Sauce (250ml)
  • Burger Sauce (250ml)
  • Chip Shop Curry Sauce (250ml)
  • Bolognese (250ml)
  • Chicken Curry (400g)
  • Satay Sauce (250ml)
  • Sweet BBQ Sauce (250ml)
  • Sweet Chilli Sauce (250ml)
  • Tomato and Tarragon Soup (400g)
  • Carrot and Coriander Soup (400g)
  • Habanero Sauce (250ml)

All packs with best before dates up to and including September 2024 have been affected.

Exploding Bottles and Deadly Danger

The contaminated products come from unsafe production lines, with risks of microbiological contamination and temperature control failures. Even worse, some glass bottles could explode, putting consumers at risk of injury.

“These products are unsafe and could cause serious illness or worse,” warned Moonshine’s Products Ltd.

  • Do NOT consume any recalled product.
  • Take a photo of the product.

  • Handle glass bottles carefully and dispose of products safely at home.
