Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Horror Crash Near Hawley School
A biker has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious smash on the B327 Hawley Road, Hampshire, this morning. Emergency crews scrambled to the scene after the 23-year-old motorcyclist collided with a black Volkswagen Touareg just yards from Hawley Primary School.

The crash happened shortly after 9am on Monday, 13 November. Police confirm the rider, from Farnborough, was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle and was travelling with another biker when the collision occurred with a 31-year-old female driver of the Volkswagen Touareg—who escaped uninjured.
Road Closures and Police Investigation
- Hawley Road closed in both directions from Fernhill Road to just past Chapel Lane.
- Closures expected until early to mid-afternoon as collision investigators comb the scene.
- Some local residents escorted home on foot; vehicles remain outside closure zone.
Road Police from Whitchurch (Northern) are carrying out detailed tests and examining the wreckage of the crushed motorbike. Officers urge drivers to find alternate routes.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“Just after 9am today a collision occurred on Hawley Road involving a black Volkswagen Touareg and a blue Yamaha motorcycle. The rider, a 23-year-old man from Farnborough, suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to St George’s Hospital in Tooting,” said Hampshire Police.
