Police are hunting for the driver who fled after smashing into a cyclist in South Staffordshire. The hit-and-run happened on Sunday, January 7, between 11:50 am and 12:15 pm on Port Lane, Coven.
Cyclist Injured, Driver Vanishes
Emergency crews raced to the scene just after 12:15 pm. A black car collided with a woman in her 70s riding a bike. The pensioner was rushed to hospital and is now in stable condition. But the driver didn’t stop—they sped off, abandoning the scene.
