Man Seriously Injured in Dorset Bus Crash

Dorset Police were scrambled to Turlin Road after a collision between a single decker bus and a pedestrian at 2.28pm on Friday, June 10, 2022.

The victim, a local man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital. His family has been informed.

Emergency Services Lock Down Scene

Officers and ambulance crews raced to the scene. Road closures were swiftly put in place to aid investigations and clear the area.

Sergeant Sarah Jones from the traffic unit said: “We are conducting a detailed investigation to determine the full circumstances of this collision.”

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Out

Sergeant Jones added: “If you witnessed the crash and haven’t spoken to police yet, please get in touch. If you captured anything on dashcam that could help, we want to hear from you.”
