Serious Crash on A35 in Christchurch: Police Hunt Witnesses
Dorset Police are on the case after a nasty collision on the A35 Lyndhurst Road late Friday night. At 10.35pm on 18 November 2022, a white HGV, a blue Honda CR-V, and a black Mercedes convertible crashed, leaving one man seriously injured.
Man Hospitalised After Collision
The Honda driver, a local man in his 30s, was rushed to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries. Emergency crews closed the road for hours but reopened it just after 2.30am on Saturday.
Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Owners to Step Forward
“We are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this collision and I am keen to speak to any witnesses who have not already had contact with police,” said Police Constable Adam Carr from the traffic unit.
“I would also urge any motorists with dashcam footage from the area to please check their recordings for anything relevant.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
