Danger at South Yorkshire Station: Woman Leaves Acid-Filled Flask on Platform

Chaos broke out at a South Yorkshire train station on Friday, 18 March around 5.30pm when a woman jumped off a train and dumped a mysterious flask on the platform.

Acid Attack Scare Sparks Panic

Two men picked up the flask and opened it, releasing a strong, noxious smell. It turned out the liquid inside was hydrochloric acid — a highly dangerous chemical.

Station Evacuated and Shut Down

Emergency services rushed to the scene, evacuating the station and closing it for several hours to deal with the hazardous spill. Commuters were left stranded while hazmat teams worked to make the area safe.
