Chaos on the Rails: Couple Abuses Guard Then Forces Unsanctioned Stop
At 5:45pm on Saturday 9 April, a man and woman jumped on a York to Kings Cross train. When the guard told them the train wouldn’t stop anywhere in between, they flipped out.
Swearing and Threats Rock Quiet Train
The pair hurled abuse and threatened the guard with violence after being told they couldn’t get off before Kings Cross. Their outburst sparked an unscheduled stop at Retford station.
Couple Flees Scene After Chaos
The train suddenly halted at Retford where the couple then disembarked and vanished from the station.
