Search Intensifies for Missing Woman in Dartford
Taiwo Balogun, 53, vanished without a trace on Thursday, 1 December. While there’s no evidence she’s been harmed by others, authorities believe Taiwo is vulnerable and may be at risk to herself.
Last Seen on Crayford Road
An investigation confirms Taiwo was spotted around 2:27pm that day inside a shop on Crayford Road, Dartford, near the junction with 1 Road. CCTV footage from the shop is now being released to jog memories of locals or drivers in the area at the time.
Taiwo stands 5ft 9ins tall. When last seen, she wore a black jacket with vertical stripes on the arms, dark trousers, and black-and-white trainers. She was carrying an orange carrier bag.
Family Pleads for Help
Worried family members and police are urging anyone who was in the area to:
- Think back to their movements on 1 December
- Check any dash-cam footage for clues
- Business owners to review CCTV for signs of Taiwo
If Taiwo is reading this, her family begs her to get in touch – even if not with the police – just to confirm she is safe.
“We are very worried about our mum. She is greatly loved and a massive part of our lives. We want nothing more than to have our mum at home with us safe and well,” said Taiwo’s family.
“If anyone has seen or knows where she is, please can you make contact with the police. Any information could help find her.”
