Man Dies After Horror Crash on M5 in Bromsgrove
West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to a serious collision between a van and an HGV on the M5 between junctions 4 and 4a at Catshill, Bromsgrove, at 8.15pm.
Emergency Crews Swarm the Scene
The response was massive. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, a critical care paramedic, two BASICS emergency doctors, and the Midland Air Ambulance Critical Care Car all attended.
Van Driver Found Critically Injured
A West Midlands Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed: “Upon arrival, we found the van driver in critical condition. Ambulance teams gave advanced life support at the scene.”
Tragic Outcome
Despite desperate efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other patients needed ambulance treatment.
