Chris McCausland’s Travel Show Turns World Wonders Upside Down
Forget typical travel shows! The Wonders of the World I Can’t See is a new four-part series starring Chris McCausland, the reluctant traveller who’s about to experience the planet’s most iconic landmarks like never before.
A New Way to Explore Famous Landmarks
Chris isn’t your average globetrotter. Each episode sees him joined by a special celebrity guest who guides him through famous sights — but with a twist. Instead of just looking, they explore using all their senses. The stars give Chris a hilarious “audio description” of the surroundings and show him there’s more to travel than meets the eye.
Will they convince Chris that leaving the couch was worth it?
Chris McCausland: The Reluctant Traveller
“I hate flying, can’t function in the heat, and can’t eat anything weird,” Chris admits. “To be honest, all I wanted to do was Gogglebox. But thanks to Channel 4 and 1 Mike for believing in me more than I believe in myself.”
Known for his sharp wit on The Last Leg and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Chris is ready to take centre stage on his very own travel adventure.
Channel 4 Backs Chris’s Bold New Journey
Phil Harris, Channel 4’s Head of Entertainment, says: “We’re thrilled to be the home of Chris’s first entertainment series. He’s a true scene-stealer, and this show is a fresh adventure that fits Channel 4’s bold spirit.”
Andrew Beint from Open Mike Productions adds: “Working with Chris on this unique travelogue has been brilliant. It’s classic Channel 4 – quirky, insightful, and utterly entertaining.”
