The Spanish driver was queued up in Operation Brock on the M20 when he urgently needed the toilet. Stepping out of his cab on the Spanish-registered HGV, he tragically fell from the bridge.

Once stabilised, the driver was packaged by advanced paramedics and HART teams before being airlifted to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for urgent treatment.
