Tragic Farewell for Beloved Paramedic Rhod Prosser, 27

Friends and colleagues gathered to pay a heartfelt goodbye to Rhod Prosser, a much-loved paramedic who lost his battle with cancer at just 27. The farewell took place this afternoon in Sittingbourne.

Emotional Procession Through the Garden of England

Just before 3pm on Thursday, a black hearse adorned with Rhod’s crew number and a floral ambulance tribute led a solemn convoy into Bobbing, Kent. The hearse was followed closely by a rapid response ambulance, a HART paramedic vehicle, and another ambulance from the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Remembering Rhod: “Kind, Caring, Intelligent, and Funny”

Rhod’s family and friends described him as “one of the kindest, caring, intelligent and funny people you could ever meet.” His sudden passing has left a deep void among those who knew him.

The Sittingbourne paramedic had been planning to propose to his partner, fellow paramedic Hannah Webster, before his death on Sunday, April 12.

“He was amazing in every single way – kind, courageous and incredibly loving,” Hannah said. “We, along with many, salute you and thank you for your life-saving work.”

Rest in peace, Sir. Your bravery and kindness will never be forgotten.
