Mum’s Heart-Stopping Moment as Daughter Vanishes on Southsea Beach – Teen Heroes Save the Day!

A mum has shared a heartfelt thank you to the teenagers who found her missing daughter on Southsea Beach late this afternoon. In her own words, she expressed immense gratitude for their quick thinking and bravery.

Teenagers Find Missing Girl and Keep Her Safe

“You did everything you could to find me and kept my daughter safe while alerting the right people!” she said. “You honestly don’t know how much that meant to me. Your parents should be proud because I know I bloody am!”

The mum also thanked everyone who joined the search – parents, men, women, and children, including her eldest child who was helping out. “You really don’t know how much your help moved me,” she added.

Heroic Lifeguards, RNLI and Police Praised

A special shout-out went to the lifeguards, RNLI crew, and police, with particular mention of three lifeguards at the tower. “You were all amazing,” she said. “It’s not just about ‘doing your job’. It’s how you handle the situation and help keep a frantic mother calm.”

Heartfelt Warning to Parents

The mum gave a stark reminder to all parents: “No matter how old your kids are, always keep an eye on them. I turned away for just two or three minutes to talk to my eldest. When I looked back, she was gone – a parent’s worst nightmare!”

She added that while her five-year-old daughter, Hollie, might have found it a scary adventure, the experience was terrifying for the family.

Please share this post to acknowledge everyone who helped and spread the message about staying vigilant. From me and all my family, thank you so much! xxx
