Tragedy on Gravesend Tracks – Person Dies in Morning Incident
A fatal incident near Gravesend train station has shocked the community this morning (September 2). Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a casualty on the railway tracks.
Emergency Crews Called at 9:20 AM
Police and paramedics arrived promptly around 9:20 AM but were unable to save the individual, who was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. The British Transport Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Rail Services Disrupted But Now Restored
The tragic event caused major disruption to rail services between Dartford and Strood. All lines close to Gravesend station were temporarily shut down while authorities managed the situation. Normal train services have since resumed.

“Officers were called to the line near Gravesend railway station at 9:29 AM today to reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
