Train Horror at Turnham Green: Passenger Struck Just After 7pm

Chaos on the District Line

Drama unfolded just after 7pm on November 1st at Turnham Green Underground Station. British Transport Police confirmed they were called following reports that someone had been struck by a train.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Officers from British Transport Police and the Met, along with other emergency units, quickly arrived to find the injured person lying on the tracks. The victim was reported to have been hit by a train, sparking a major emergency response.

Trains Halted and Stations Closed

All trains have been stopped from Stamford Brook on the Piccadilly line. Trains already past this point are being driven back to Stamford Brook to manage the disruption. In addition, Turnham 1 Terrace is closed as investigations and rescue efforts continue.
