A Southeastern spokesperson said: “Sadly, a person has been struck by a train between Canterbury West and Ramsgate. While emergency services attend the scene, no trains can run through Canterbury West. Some services will be diverted via Dover.”
Passengers have been advised to use replacement bus services, with tickets valid on these alternatives to ease the disruption.
