Police Launch Witness Appeal After Fatal Crash in Isleworth

Detectives are hunting for witnesses following a deadly collision in Isleworth that claimed the life of an 18-year-old moped rider.

Young Rider Killed in Twickenham Road Smash

Police were called to Twickenham Road, Isleworth, at around 1:15pm on Thursday, April 26, after reports of a crash involving a Toyota Yaris and a moped. The moped rider, Sam Jefferies from Chiswick, was rushed to the scene by ambulance but tragically died at 1:59pm.

Sam’s family have been informed, and a post-mortem exam will be arranged in due course.

Toyota Driver Remains at Scene as Investigation Continues

The Toyota driver stayed at the scene and is assisting officers. The Serious Collisions Investigation Unit, alongside the Roads and Transport Policing Command, are leading the probe. So far, no arrests have been made.
