Woman in 60s Critically Injured in Morden Hall Road Hit-and-Run
Police were called to Morden Hall Road at 8.15pm on Monday, 14 December after a car struck a pedestrian.
Pedestrian Hurt, Driver Cooperating
The victim, a woman believed to be in her 60s, was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition. Officers are still trying to find and inform her next of kin.
The driver stayed at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries. No arrests have been made so far.
Witnesses Sought: Bus Passengers and Dashcam Owners
Police want to speak to anyone on the route 118 bus that was stationary at Morden Lodge bus stop during the incident. They may have seen what happened.
Officers are also urging road users with dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
Serious Collision Investigation Underway
The Merton-based Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the probe.
