Man Punched as Puppy Snatched in Taunton Robbery

A thug punched a man in his 60s during a brazen puppy theft in Taunton. The victim suffered bruising after the violent encounter.

Two Suspects on the Run

Police are hunting two white men linked to the crime:

  • Suspect 1: Medium build, clean-shaven, black hair, wearing a quilted jacket.
  • Suspect 2: Around 50, slim, 5ft 8ins tall, clean-shaven, wearing a hat and furry-lined jacket.

The pair were spotted wheeling a dark mountain bike near Pickeridge Close at about 10.30am on Thursday, 16 February.

Stolen Pup Details

The stolen pooch, named Tok, is chocolate brown with a distinctive white stripe down his ribs. Both men wore dark clothes and black-and-white trainers when last seen.
