Woman and Toddler Targeted by Suspicious Man Near Southampton Hospital

A woman and a four-year-old child were approached by a creepy man after leaving Southampton General Hospital yesterday lunchtime.

Chilling Encounter on Tremona Road

The pair exited the hospital at around 12:30pm via a pedestrian crossing near reception. They walked along Tremona Road, past a bus stop, heading towards Princess Anne Hospital on Coxford Road. That’s when the man, acting suspiciously, approached them and made them feel scared. They quickly turned back to Southampton General Hospital and reported the incident to security.

Police Hunt Man in Black Zip-Up and Hat

The suspect is described as white, aged 40 to 50, with short black hair and a black/grey beard. He wore dark trousers, dark shoes, a hat, and a black zip-up jacket with a hood.

Police Appeal: Did You See Anything?

Officers are working closely with Southampton General Hospital to ID the man. If you were nearby at the time, saw anyone acting suspiciously, or have dashcam footage, police want to hear from you.
