The A13 Alfred’s Way East Ham and Barking bypass is closed in both directions between Movers Lane Underpass and Beckton Roundabout. Police, paramedics, and multiple fire crews were called out late Wednesday night following reports of a distressed man on a bridge near the Showcase cinema.
Traffic Chaos as Bus Routes Diverted
The closure came just after 10pm, bringing the busy route to a standstill. Bus routes 173 and 62 are also affected and have been diverted to avoid the scene.
