Man Found Dead in Wallasey Lake – Police Say No Foul Play

Merseyside Police have confirmed that the death of a man found in a Wallasey lake is not being treated as suspicious.

Body Discovered at Central Park Lake

Police were called just after 6.30am on Monday, 20 May, following reports of a man’s body in the lake at Central Park, Liscard Road, Wallasey. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene.

Identity Confirmed, Family Being Notified

The man has been identified and officers are working to notify his next of kin. A Home Office post mortem has taken place, but the exact cause of death remains under wraps pending toxicology results.

Investigation Closed as Non-Suspicious

Currently, the death is not being treated as suspicious. The case will now be passed to the coroner for further action.
