Posh Travellers Quit UK Over Cold Weather, Say ‘We Are Off’
A wealthy group of travellers camping in Cosham have had enough of the chilly British weather and plan to leave – with or without an eviction notice.

The travellers, boasting 18 caravans and 20 cars, including a Bentley and a Mercedes, set up camp in the Lynx House car park on Northern Road around 8pm last night (29th November).

Council and Police Take Legal Action
A Portsmouth City Council spokesperson said: “We are undertaking appropriate procedures within the legal framework for responding to incursions on Council land, to ensure the caravans and vehicles leave the site at Spectrum.”
They added, “We are working with police colleagues from the Safer Neighbourhood team, who are also aware of the current situation.
The occupants have bin bags and rubbish removal is arranged regularly, with patrols set to continue through the weekend.”
Travellers Say Weather Will See Them Off
But it’s not the official eviction notice that’s pushing them out. The group claim the cold British winter is the real culprit. They say they’re heading back to warmer climates in Sweden and France and plan to leave tomorrow.
Looks like the British weather has won this round.
