Prison Uproar at HMP The Mount: Riot Squad Called In Twice in 24 Hours!
Inmates have taken over a wing at HMP The Mount not once, but twice within a day. Riot police, known as the Specialist Tornado Team, were forced to intervene after prisoners seized control of Nash wing this morning.
Inmates Armed and In Control
The Ministry of Justice confirmed the drama, insisting the prison remains secure and the public is safe. But inside, trouble brews. Around 250 inmates on Nash wing—each with just three months left on their sentences—have reportedly armed themselves and taken over the block.
