Chaos on the A3054! The main road into Yarmouth is shut after a three-vehicle crash near Cranmore this afternoon.

The smash happened on Bouldnor Road between Shalfleet and Thorley. Police have shut the road at 1 and Groom pub, forcing traffic onto detours through Thorley Village and Hill Place Lane.
Crash Involves Three Cars and a Stranded School Coach
The collision involves a black Volvo V60, a blue Citroen C4, and another unspecified black vehicle. A school coach is stuck in the gridlock but wasn’t involved in the crash. Armed Roads Policing officers are on the scene managing the situation.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
- Two ambulances from Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are attending the incident.
- An incident officer has also been dispatched.
- No one is trapped inside any vehicles, but paramedics are treating those involved.
- One passenger is a young child currently being checked over by medics.
