Serious Crash Shuts A259 Both Ways Near Brenzett

A nasty two-car smash has blocked the A259 in both directions this afternoon. The crash happened just before 3:50pm near Tickner’s Lane in Brenzett, Kent. Police, paramedics, and even air ambulance crews rushed to the scene.
Road Closed, Delays Expected
The A259 is shut between the A2070 junction and Eighteen Acre Lane while investigators work. Drivers are warned to avoid the area and find alternative routes. Delays could last well into the evening.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.50pm on Saturday 12 April following reports of a collision involving two cars on the A259 near Tickner’s Lane in Brenzett. Officers, along with ambulance and air ambulance crews, are in attendance. The road has been closed in both directions while the incident is dealt with.”
