Blazing Car Sparks Fire Crew Dash in Bromley

Just after 8.30am today, fire engines roared to life and raced down Sundridge Avenue as reports came in of a car ablaze. Two fire crews from Bromley Fire Station slammed on the brakes at the hot spot moments later.

Flames Snuffed Out in Under 30 Minutes

The London Fire Brigade battled the blaze fiercely and had it fully extinguished by 9am. Quick action stopped the fire from spreading to nearby vehicles or homes.

Miracle No One Hurt in Morning Drama

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “We were called at 08:37 to reports of a vehicle alight on Sundridge Avenue in Bromley. Two fire engines from Bromley Fire Station attended the scene and extinguished the fire by 09:05. There were no reports of any injuries.”
