Southend Official Warns: Stay Alert or Face Tougher Measures
“Covid-19 rates in Southend-on-Sea have soared by a third in just a week,” says local health chief Krishna. “We must all stay vigilant – wearing masks, social distancing, hand washing, and ventilating rooms are vital to stop the spread of new variants.”
Krishna added, “Our first vaccine pop-up was a hit, and we’re targeting areas with low uptake to make sure everyone gets protected. If you feel unwell, self-isolate and get a PCR test immediately.”
“Take your vaccine and booster, wear your mask in crowded spots, and keep washing those hands. The people of Southend have been brilliant so far, and together we can prevent further restrictions.”
