Timothy Hatcher, 69, vanished more than a week ago. He was last spotted at the Co-op on Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford, around 2:40pm on Sunday, 18 December. Authorities reported him missing two days later.

Today, specialist police teams conducted detailed searches around Meadgate Avenue and nearby Hylands Park. The intensive operation is ongoing and will continue into the evening as officers chase every lead.
Last Known Description and Potential Lead
Timothy was wearing a black beanie hat, a yellow high-visibility coat, and carried a black bag slung over one shoulder when last seen. Police are also probing a possible connection with another man seen with Timothy earlier this month.
The pair were spotted buying trainers at JD Sports, High Chelmer, on 3 December. This man, believed to be a friend or acquaintance, could hold crucial information. Authorities have released his image and are appealing for anyone who recognises him to come forward.
