Surrey County Council has named Claire Edgar as their new Executive Director for Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships (AWHP). Currently southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton City Council’s Executive Director of Community Wellbeing, Claire will join Surrey later this year after a tough recruitment battle.
Decades of Experience Fighting for Vulnerable Adults
A qualified social worker, Claire brings over 20 years of frontline experience in local government and social care. She’ll take on statutory responsibility for Adult Social Care – a vital role in supporting Surrey’s most vulnerable residents.
