Police Hunt Key Witness After Horror Single-Car Smash
PC Chris Weatherley, investigating from Abingdon’s Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, revealed the car left the road for unknown reasons before flipping and landing in a nearby field.
“I’m appealing for anyone who saw the crash or the vehicle beforehand to get in touch,” said PC Weatherley. “We especially want to speak to a man who helped at the scene before emergency services arrived. He may have witnessed the collision.”
Police believe this crucial witness might be a security company employee driving from Chilton towards Didcot.
Calls for Dash-Cam Footage and Witnesses to Come Forward
The BMW was thought to have come from the A34, heading towards Didcot when the crash happened.
Officers are running a full investigation and urge anyone with dash-cam footage or any information about the car in the area at that time to contact them immediately.
