Tragic M3 Crash Claims Life of Devoted Father
The family of a man killed in a horror single-car crash on the M3 have paid a heartfelt tribute to their lost loved one.
Emergency services were called at 8.21pm on Thursday, 17 June, after a silver Vauxhall Astra left the road on the southbound carriageway near Junction 5, close to Hook.
The driver, 33-year-old Anuj Roka Magar from Wilmott Way, Basingstoke, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Remember Anuj’s Big Heart and Archery Passion
His grieving family said: “Anuj was loving and caring to all family members. He was a great young man with a big heart.”
They added that Anuj was passionate about archery and will be sorely missed by his 2½-year-old son Aadarsh, and nieces Samira and Rihasha.
“Nothing can be the same now you are gone. You will be sorely missed by all family and friends,” they said.
The family also thanked the emergency services who responded to the tragic crash.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are still investigating the exact cause of the collision. They urge anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
